Guyana’s Global Super League reschedules final to avoid clashes with West Indies-Bangladesh series preparations
Notably, the rescheduling ensures there are no conflicts with the West Indies vs. Bangladesh ODI series preparations. The Global Super League Chairman Sir Clive Lloyd emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of both events.
He said, “While the squads for the West Indies ODI series against Bangladesh have not yet been announced we wanted to ensure that there was no chance of a clash between the conclusion of the GSL and the preparations for that series. This decision has been made after discussions with Cricket West Indies. It is to ensure the integrity of both the West Indies vs Bangladesh series and the GSL.”
It is also to be noted that the ticket holders for the rescheduled matches can use their existing tickets for entry. Those unable to attend the games on the new dates are eligible for a full refund.
