Guyana Global Super League Preview: Date, Time, When and Where to watch?

The inaugural edition of the Guyana Global Super League 2024 is poised to make a grand debut, bringing together five elite T20 club teams from across the globe. Organized by Cricket West Indies (CWI), the tournament will run from November 26 to December 6, 2024, at the iconic Providence Stadium in Guyana.

This premier event will feature 11 matches played in a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the final. The stakes are high, with a prize pool of USD 1 million awaiting the winners.

Five teams from top T20 leagues to compete in Guyana from November 26 to December 6

The five participating teams represent some of the world’s top domestic T20 leagues:

Guyana Amazon Warriors (CPL), led by Imran Tahir under coach Prasanna Agoram.

Hampshire Hawks (Vitality Blast), captained by Chris Wood with Adrian Birrell as coach.

Lahore Qalandars (PSL), helmed by Darren Gough.

Rangpur Riders (BPL), led by Nurul Hasan and coached by Mickey Arthur.

Victoria (BBL), captained by Corey Anderson with Chris Rogers as coach.

Several star international cricketers like Imran Tahir, Moeen Ali, Chris Wood will be seen participating in the debut T20 tournament. 

West Indies team’s national players have also registered to participate in the tournament. International players like Shimron Hetmyer, Roston Chase and Romario Shepherd will be seen featuring in the tournament. 

When and Where to watch Global Super League 2024? 

The matches will begin at 7:00 PM Local Time. 

The Global Super League promises thrilling cricket action as teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, Pakistan, and the West Indies compete for glory. Cricket fans can expect a high-octane tournament blending international talent and local flavor.
